At Imdad e Hasan Charitable Foundation (IHCF), we’re a dedicated team of volunteers and professionals committed to making a tangible difference in communities across India. Founded in March 2025 by Mr. Iftikhar, alongside a group of socially conscious Muslim professionals, entrepreneurs and software engineers and many more. Our non-profit organization is driven by a shared vision for societal progress and development. We believe in harnessing collective knowledge, skills, and experience to empower communities across educational, economic, social, and political spheres. Our support comes entirely from our members and individuals who share our commitment to positive change.
What is LocalZakat? LocalZakat, an initiative launched by IHCF in March 2025, is India’s one of its kind online donation platform designed to unify Zakat seekers and Zakat givers. Recognizing that while many Muslims fulfill their Zakat obligations, the process is often unorganized and lacks long-term impact, we established LocalZakat to create a structured and impactful collective Zakat system, adhering strictly to Islamic principles. This revolutionary approach is designed to be unique in many important ways which described here.
This platform is a crucial step towards mobilizing the collection of Fitra, Sadaqah, Zakat, and other charities in a collaborative way. Our objective is purely socio-economic transformation, ensuring these vital contributions are channeled directly to the poor and needy for their survival, upliftment, development, and overall growth.
Our work primarily focuses on both rural and urban areas throughout India. Imdad e Hasan Charitable Foundation, is dedicated to promoting education, healthcare, religious understanding, and social well-being, encompassing physical, moral, intellectual, economic, and scientific aspects. We also actively protect sacred sites like Masajid, Madaris, Dargahs, and Khanqahs by helping them legally with our team of lawyers in AIMMA Legal on PAN India platform.
