The opportunity

Jamia Hamdard offers rigorous, research-based programs in Islamic Studies at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Eligible Muslim students admitted to these programs can receive complete coverage of tuition, exam, and other mandated university charges through LocalZakat.com, an initiative of Imdad e Hasan Charitable Foundation (IHCF). Contributions help support this assistance and enable deserving students to access education in these fields.

• Typical annual fees covered: Tuition ₹16,000 + Exam ₹1,000 + Other fees ₹3,000 = ₹20,000 per year
• One‑time university charges (year 1): ₹18,000 (admission, library, enrollment, alumni)
• Who qualifies for admission:
  • B.A.: Class 12 or Alimiyah (recognized), minimum 45%
  • M.A.: Bachelor’s degree (45%) or Fazilat (recognized)
• Selection (illustrative by university): CUET‑Urdu + General Test for B.A. (or merit if CUET not available); merit + interview for M.A.
