Imdad e Hasan Charitable Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Mr. Iftikhar in 2025. It was established by an entrepreneur, software engineer, and a group of Muslim professionals and volunteers who aimed to share their knowledge, skills, and experience to promote the overall progress and development of society. The organization receives support entirely from its members and socially conscious individuals. It empowers the community across educational, economic, social, and political aspects of life.
Imdad e Hasan Charitable Foundation launched localzakat.com, India’s one of the most crowd funding platform, in March 2025 with a view to bring the Zakat Seekers and Zakat Givers on a unified platform. The objective for its operation is purely with the intent of bringing socio-economic transformation in the lives of the people, without seeking to generate any commercial surplus.
Zakat is a mandatory charity that Muslims are obliged to pay if their wealth is above a threshold limit in a year. Even though the majority of people give the required amount of Zakat, it is largely unorganized. A disbursement of this kind that isn’t well-organized isn’t a long-term way to get the community out of its backwardness. As a result, the organization has decided to take this initiative to establish a collective Zakat system while adhering to Islamic principles like the distribution of Zakat.
This platform is a step in the direction of mobilizing the collection of Fitra, Sadaqah, Zakat, and other charities in a collaborative way and channeling these collections to provide benefits to the poor and needy people of the community and the society for the overall survival, upliftment, development, and growth.
Primarily, the work area of this organization will be in rural and urban areas of the whole INDIA. Our NGO is working for the educational, health care, religious, and social promotion including physical, moral, intellectual, agricultural, economics, and scientific and also protects Masjid, Dargah, and Khanqah.
